[Updated bio coming soon! - I'm currently on tour with Nick Mason's Saucerful of Secrets...]

Whilst studying Music and Sound Technology at The Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts, I began my career as a musical tea-boy at Parr Street Studios, graduating to become an engineer and ProTools programmer.

In 1999 I moved to London and worked freelance as a programmer and engineer in many of London’s best studios - gaining experience with a huge variety of artists before working as an assistant composer and producer. Later, I set up my own studios at Ealing Film studios with creative partner Ant Adams. There we composed and produced literally hundreds of radio and TV adverts, as well as commissions for film and TV.

During this time I joined seminal dance pioneers, The Orb and started several side projects such as Transit Kings (with Jimmy Cauty and Guy Pratt), Belka and Strelka and High Frequency Bandwidth (with Alex Paterson). I’ve had the opportunity to tour festivals and play to arena crowds across Japan and Europe as well as in the UK at events such as Fuji Rock, The Big Chill and Glastonbury.

As a programmer, arranger, producer and co-writer I’ve worked with artists as diverse as Rick Wright  (Pink Floyd), Katherine Jenkins, Brian Molko (Placebo), Just Jack, Liberty X, The Spice Girls and Jonny Marr (The Smiths).  I’ve also written and co-produced scores in Mumbai for Bollywood films.

Clients include BBC, Channel 4, Sky, Sony Playstation, EMI and Universal plus commercial clients such as HSBC, Nokia, Carlsberg and Diagio.

In 2010 my debut game score (with Alex Paterson) for PixelJunk “Shooter” was BAFTA nominated for “Best Original Score”.

Since then I've been writing and producing as hard and fast as I can for games such as  Relentless Software's "Enigma Express", documentaries, albums, online content and remixes.. Please have a look at the "work" pages.
